I haven't unpacked yet. The studio is still empty and I am enjoying the space. This is a time for frying mushrooms. There is no way to simply pick up things where I have left them in Italy so what else can I do but read a book, start some new pieces in peace and feel them expand in this solitude before all their siblings come through the door. It's important to just settle and look. And maybe do a little jiggy dance. Things will happen soon enough..
